florina: not to miss for the world

Marta and Manu's Carma Cafe is not to be missed for the world if you need a home in Salzburg. I chose to name it HOME because it feels like you belong, everything you need is there in a fairytale-like castle! Amazing view from the guest loft, it is a delight for any eyesight early in the morning! A great way to start the day! Very good breakfast, lovely fireplace and also, if you feel like dancing, there is an evergreen discography available to show all you've got! Salzburg has a lot to offer but in case I come back to Austria, I would spend more time indoors with Manu and Marta! Thank you for being absolutely fantastic hosts! Yours grateful forever, hugs from Bucharest! See you soon in Romania!

Clara: 2 months stay, 2 months (and more) friendship

A great place to stay. I can't even write it down, is something that one must live by itself. Marta and Manu are the most coolest Salzburg citizens I've met. They are a great couple who helps you in anything you need.

I've been living with them for 2 months and if I had to repeat the experience I'd go there again (Actually, Marta, if I ever go back save a room for me :D).

Clean place with great people. Maybe for someone is quite far from the city (20 minutes by bus that you take for 2,20€ on front of the house and leaves you in the city center) but, anyway, Wals is a village really calm and nice that everyone should see! It's absolutely worth it to stay there!!

Regine: Salzburg June 2012

Carmela was a very friendly host. She was very helpful in every way to our needs whenever she can and we did have a wonderful stay at her attic. There were 5 of us and the attic was clean, tidy, spacious and comfortably enough for the 5 of us and was very happy with the stay. She even prepared a generous portion of breakfast for us and shared tips on where to visit as well which I think was very nice of her. We even extended our stay in Austria, from 1 night to additional 2 nights, lucky for us there was availability. I would highly recommend Carmela place and she is by far one of the best we had throughout our Europe Trip. Thank you. :)

bev: salzburg 2012

My husband and I were only in Salzburg for a couple of days and despite the cloudy and rainy weather we still enjoyed our stay in Salzburg and at Carmela's.  She is a very friendly and welcoming host, opened up her home to us.  The loft was such a large and fun space to be in, her entire home very beautiful and clean.  We also liked the fact that she shared a common interest with us which was tennis, we very much enjoyed the little chats we had as well:) It is what she says she is on her web***, very simple and natural...We would recommend her place!

Jack: Salzburg

We loved our stay in Salzburg. The home was very nice, and located in a great little town outside of the city. Carmela was very nice and helpful, and the provided breakfast was great. Thanks!

Clay: Great Place March 2012

Carmela's place is very welcoming, and just as described. The attic flat is comfortable, stylish, cool, and fun. Sharing the house with Carmela and her family was a definite benefit for my daughter and me, as we enjoyed both the conversation and the local advice (be sure to see Hanger 7!). We had a car, and getting to the Salzburg town center was easy. I think it would be easy by bus, as well. This is definitely a great place to stay!

Marco

I met Marta and her husband when I was a Salzburg for the end of the year. I know her as a brilliant and polite person.Very special family!

She lives in a wonderful and funny apartment that is five minutes by bus from Salzburg's lovely center but at the same time in a quiet and residential neighbourhood. Marta was very welcoming and also provided breakfast in the morning. Wonderful place to stay and plenty of room.

I would rent one more time her place without hesitation!

Thanks for all your disponibility!
